post your site!
*PLEASE

cannot be responsible for technical support
or problems encountered with any web design
software. Below are recommendations of
third-party programs with good reputations
for creating and maintaining simple, quality
web pages. Please consult the companies
responsible for the software production
if there are any concerns.
- Request
access to your webspace, simply by
sending an email to support@sgci.com
You must include your e-mail address
and the name the account is registered
under. Within 24 hours we will process
your order and you will be able to
FTP into your account.
- Find
a program that will create web pages.
Microsoft Office users can have Word,
PowerPoint or Publisher produce their
homepages. Freeware or shareware
programs can be found at the following
sites, specializing in quality software.
Make sure to download at least three
programs, an HTML editor (e.g. FrontPage
Express), a graphics editor (e.g.
CorelDraw) and an FTP program (e.g.
CuteFTP).
*NOTE*
While Spectrum Global Communications
Inc. is responsible for providing
our customers' web space, we cannot
be responsible for technical support
for problems with any software you
decide to use.
- Once
you have your site ready to upload
to the Internet, connect using the
same login name and password that
you use to dial into SGCI using the
FTP program and connect to Spectrum's
users server; users.sgci.com
- Upload
all files to the public_html directory.
If you don't place the files in this
directory, people will not be able
to see the site from the Internet.
- Test
your site by going to http://users.sgci.com/~username
