Communicator
- Select Edit
from the bar along the top of your
screen
- Select Preferences
from the pop-up menu
- Along the left-hand
side of the Preferences window, you
will see a list. You will see Mail
& Groups. (There will either
be a + or a beside the Mail
& Groups. If you see a +, click
in the little box so that you get
a . When you see a you
will see a sub-list under Mail &
Groups.)
Under Mail
& Groups
- Click on Identity
- Under Your
Name, type your full name
(i.e. John Smith)
- Under Email
address, type your
e-mail address (i.e. username@sgci.com)
- Click On Mail
Server
- Mail
server user name =
your username (the name
that you use to connect
to Spectrum)
- Outgoing
mail (SMTP) server
= mail1.sgci.com
- Incoming
mail server = pop1.sgci.com
- Mail
Server type, choose
POP3 (make sure
that there is a little
